Not amazing but not bad either. Nice berry/menthol mix. This is probably the best juice I've bought from Mt. Baker. Definitely worth the $8 or whatever it costs.
I gave Hawk Sauce a couple of tries. During the first few puffs I always think "hey, this is a great juice". But after a couple more puffs it gets too intense and perfumey and I get sick of it immediately.
As others have said, this tastes like smarties or sweet tart candy with a cool finish. It's a good vape if you don't mind that the fruits are candiyish. I prefer Faux Hawk honestly because there is more of a true fruit flavor from the raspberry.
What can be said about Hawk Sauce that hasn't already been said? Well, for starters, it is a great all-day vape. In fact, it is a great rest-of-your-life vape. The flavors are strong and balanced, giving a nice floral, sweet and refreshing flavor that hits the back of the lungs and stays there with an almost menthol flavor. The color is light, and it works well in most cartos, tanks, and drips. The only thing to be careful is that it has been reported to crack non-glass tanks, although that has never happened to me.
I give it a 9 because of only tried a handful of juices and this is one of the best so far. Its a sour fruity menthol, but not one thing is overpowering, which is the issue I seem to have with other juices. It's a very nice blend and all the flavors go very well and compliment each other. I would def give this one a try.
The menthol taste is NOT menthol (also confirmed by MBV). It's more of a coolness similar to "frosty" flavors. I have no idea what the taste is that I'm getting. But its very good. I recommend this juice in a dripper with a lower ohm coil (maybe in the .5 range).
easy to adv, good flavor, refreshing
Sweet and sour fruit candy with a hint of menthol. The flavor itself is quite good, but way too weak for my tastes (I didn't get any flavor shots with it, so this may be the problem). The exhale taste is a little off, not sure how to describe it. Throat hit and vapor production are mediocre. This juice had a lot of potential - it's tasty and the price is right, but ultimately falls short of the hype. It could need even more steeping time (although I've already had it sitting for a month), or maybe this is one of the MBV varieties that desperately needs flavor shots to be good.
I am new to Vaping. This so far is my everyday Vape, but I was a menthol smoker. Love this juice!!!!. Also, love Mt. Baker Vapor!!!
I did not order any extra flavor shots with this one. Like what others have said, Hawk Sauce is like vaping Smarties... or perhaps the candy you would get on candied necklaces. I would rate this higher, but the flavor has a somewhat strange exhale---a bit like the aftertaste you get from sugar-free energy drinks... I also get some floral undertones, which I don't love; I'm not a particular fan of eating flower petals. However, overall, the flavor is pleasant and I enjoy vaping this from time to time.
Call me immature, but at 31 years old I still chuckle whenever I say Hawk Sauce. This is another one of MBV's flavors that I find myself coming back to much more often than their others. It reminds me of a blend of shock tarts and sweet tarts, with a nice cooling effect from the menthol. I'm not sure what the "inspirations from the pacific northwest" are, perhaps it's the subtle floral note that sits behind the berries. Either way, Hawk Sauce is a quality flavor from MBV. I suppose there's a reason it's got over 1200 reviews on their site, it's quite delicious.
Flavor on first day was mentholated and sweet to the point of being almost bitter. After two days the flavor changed semi-completely. The menthol went in to a recession and was about half as prominent as it was 2 days prior. A positive improvement as I found that the level of menthol right after opening, combined with the berry/fruit flavor made me gag a bit. But two days later it is so much better! Probably not an ADV for me but I did spend a considerable amount of time vaping it yesterday. I would say its more berry then fruit. Very pleasant.
Let me start by saying I don't like menthol flavors. I gave Hawk Sauce a shot as a free sample simply because I've heard about it so much, and aside from the menthol part, it sounded like something I'd enjoy. I was quite pleasantly surprised, the menthol is mellow enough to add just a bit of coolness on the exhale, and it blends with the sour mixed berries flavor quite nicely. I tried it immediately after receiving it and again after 2 weeks with no change in flavor.
Very light and fruity berry/menthol flavor.
I like Hawk Sauce. I'm not sure if it works as an ADV for me, but it a nice change of pace once in a while. The is probably more sour berry than there is menthol. I would almost consider this a beverage flavor, but I don't know of a comparable beverage. I guess there needs to be one!
Hawk Sauce is my first love, this is a fruity citrusy flavour with a nice cooling menthol backdrop. This was my ADV for a long while simply due to the fact that I could never get sick of the flavour since it's so relaxed. I found that it wasn't necessary to steep hawk sauce and that is never really matures much in flavour.
I have trouble deciding exactly what this is, energy drink? Fruit? Gum? Whatever it is it's great, I get this whenever I can!
Smarties, with a hint of cool on the exhale. It's complex enough to vape all day without getting bored, and simple enough not to overwhelm the taste buds. Definitely ADV material.
Fruits are well balanced but a little heavy on the menthol.
After all the hype I heard about Hawk Sauce, I ordered a bottle along with some other goodies from MBV. I ordered the juice with 2 extra flavor shots, which may have been my downfall. When I first got the juice, I tried it straight out of the bottle. It had a very perfumy taste to it...almost like a floral taste. I figured the juice needed some steeping time. 2 weeks later, the flowery taste has dissipated, but what I am left with is just a very faint cool berry flavor. To be honest, I could probably live with the flavor, but the throat hit is nowhere to be found. Ordered this at a 65/35 PG/VG ratio, and I get nothing. Due to the hype, I was very disappointed with this juice.
A refreshing, mildly minty ADV choice from MBV. Complex, with hints of berries and just the right twinge of sour candy. I didn't smoke menthol analogs, and do not normally enjoy menthol/minty juices but this one knocks it out of the park. Just enough for a cool, smooth exhale. Subtle flavors make for a great all day experience.
Solid flavor, reminds me of smarties. It does however leave slight after taste that reminds me of cough syrup (but not a deal breaker).
It's sour and sweet with a strong menthol taste. Tastes almost like Sour Patch Kids
Ordered this to see what the fuss was about. When it first came in it was very menthol and strong. After waiting 3 weeks it has mellowed out significantly. It has a semi-tart berry flavor with some menthol undertones. I am not a menthol person, but this is do-able. It doesn't give you that overly minty frozen throat or chest feeling. It's just feels cool on the exhale. As far as the flavor, I want to say it's a mix of raspberry, blueberry, and grape but I am just not sure. I can't compare it to anything I have tasted before. It's good and I will finish the 30ml I bought but I am undecided if I will order it again.
This is one of my favorites from MBV. After a few days steeping, offers a nice blend of fruity berry flavors with a noticeable menthol undercarriage. Nice throat hit at 18 nic. Complex and it has the legs to be an ADV and not get boring. There is a very slight chemically aftertaste the comes up on occasion, and I'm hoping that goes away with further steeping.

One of Mt. Baker's better flavors. If you make an order with them, definitely get this one
Great strong fruity flavor. Bit strong for an all day vape, but a great one to have around as a treat.
I liken this to a watermelon jolly rancher. So tasty and good all day. It is sweet but not overly so.
Was given to me as a sample. Since they gave me absinthe before, I figured they were just giving away gross stuff, and was unimpressed with the odd name.
Surprisingly, despite it's weird flavor profile (it is hard to put a finger what exactly you're tasting), it is enjoyable!
I chose minty instead of menthol, but it is somewhere in between. The fruity flavor tastes like tangerine but without an intense citrus edge. It's enjoyable to vape for awhile, but that flavor's likeability definitely changes with mood, but still gets high marks!
Sweet flavor that's good all day. Tastes a bit like berries and watermelon. Great vapor and very smooth. I've already re-ordered.
Ugh. This ejuice is just disgusting in my opinion, I just got it as a free sample from Mt Baker. The Juice is a combination of some sort of sour berry and minty flavor. It has a really distinct flavor and aroma, would not recommend. Im hoping its much better when steeped, but we'll see.
With two extra flavor shots, It tastes just like Pixie Stix. Only complaint is how light the flavor actually is. I expected it to be very strong with the extra shots. This is why I give it 8 instead of 10.
What can I say about hawk sauce? That it has a description of " A Slightly Sour Berry, hint of menthol and Fruit Mix with Inspirations Drawn from the Pacific North West." and that I feel is perfect for it. I love me some hawk sauce.
One of my all day vapes, Hawk Sauce is a wonderful blend of fruits with a nice sour kick reminiscent of sweettarts. The menthol cooling effect adds to the refreshing aspect of the juice. It tasted great right out of the box (this may or may not be attributed to the extra flavor shots I threw in) and it's only gotten better with age. If you like the chill of menthol and want a nice fruity vape, you can't go wrong with Hawk Sauce.
Just the right amount of menthol, not a predominant flavor in the mix but enough to get the cooling sensation. I don't really detect any sour in this, MBV's Ecto Cooler is more tart than Hawk Sauce. The blue raspberry flavor is a little soapy and doesn't compare to other blue raspberry flavors I've tried. It is, however, a pretty pleasant vape overall.
All in all, Hawk Sauce was an 'okay' vape. To me it tasted like a fruity chap-stik. I will say that the more I vaped it, the more pronounced the frutiness became, and the more I liked it. This e-juice did put out some wicked clouds, however.
I don't get the "menthol" everyone is taking about (maybe because I vape Extreme Ice from MBV!), but this is a great vape. For me, it tastes like a 7-11 slurpee, very fruity and sweet. Do I really need to say more?
Definitely needs time to steep.
Hawk Sauce was my first real endeavor into e-juice. I was never a big menthol fan but i heard the rave about Hawk Sauce and decided to try it. It changed the was i think about juice and production. ITs a great fuity menthol blend that gets more menthol the longer it steeps.
I can't really pin down the flavor so I think of it as the flavor of blue candy. It's got a bit of sour so the sweet doesn't overwhelm and just a touch of coolness.
This is a tart fruit flavor, that many say have a bit of menthol to it. I remember tasting it the first time I bought it but after the second bottle I no longer taste that minty flavor, but this has a sour berry flavor to it. My favorite berry flavor so far.
A tart fruity flavor with a hint of mint (although MBV says there is no menthol in it, there is definitely SOMETHING). Currently my ADV.
Fruity flavor with a sour kick, decent vapor production- overall a very tasty vape! Not a huge fan of the name, especially when people want to know what flavor it is... but other than that I highly recommend it!
Smells good, a very sweet and fruity smelling juice, but falls flat when you go to vape it. It has an inescapable soapy flavor even after steeping. Very little throat hit, but good vapor production.
Hawk Sauce is a great, complex fruity flavor. It's sweet, rich, tart and fruity. Steeping turns this from a good juice to a great juice.
